The position is part of the Entertainment Brand Solutions group – a part of Disney Advertising Sales, an integrated cross-platform national advertising sales and marketing organization within the Disney Entertainment Television (DET) business segment that includes Disney+, Hulu, Disney Channels, ABC, ABC Owned Television Stations, Freeform, FX, Nat Geo, ESPN and Disney Digital.
Job Summary:
Disney Advertising Sales is seeking an Associate Manager to report into Senior Manager, Entertainment Brand Solutions. The Associate Manager will assist with the team’s advertiser solutions and project management for advertiser driven cross-platform brand solutions tied to Jimmy Kimmel Live and ABC Unscripted Series across ABC, Hulu and Disney+. This role is based in Los Angeles, California.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
Participate in idea generation/pre-sale process and help with creation of pitch materials (RFPs and proactive)
- Participate in and contribute to idea generation
- Assist in creation of client-facing pitch materials that detail (customized and market-wide) sponsorship opportunities
- Update all internal opportunity trackers and documents for team
- Help manage approvals among key stakeholders (Management, Revenue Yield Management, Legal, BS&P, PR, Business Affairs, studios, producers, etc.)
Assist in management of the post-sale/activation process: timelines, trackers, approvals, production shoots, post-production, etc. May include:
- Assist in all project related correspondence including legal agreements and project management documents
- Coordinate and manage client and internal approvals
- Support on-set shoots
- Manage budgets and billing
- Responsible for digitizing and uploading all branded content
- Recap deals and case studies inclusive of research
- Help with sweepstakes management
Serve as key contributor to the Jimmy Kimmel Live and ABC Unscripted Series, Entertainment Brand Solutions team who serve as experts across ABC. Including but not limited to:
- Knowledge of Jimmy Kimmel Live and ABC Unscripted Series IP and processes
- Gather information and updates from key parties related to each show (i.e., producing partners, internal ABC stakeholders) to ensure team members have the latest information.
- Maintaining show and department related documentation: budget management, department status reports, revenue and pitch trackers, case studies, research, competitive analysis, etc.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Legal, BS&P, Programming, PR, Sales, Creative, etc.) and serve as resource for Jimmy Kimmel Live and ABC Unscripted Series related projects.
Support the revenue performance around Jimmy Kimmel Live and ABC Unscripted Series to maximize partnership opportunities and revenue.
Assist team members on the development and execution of cross-platform (linear, digital, social streaming, etc.) deals.
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
- 3+ years of marketing, sponsorship, promotion, branded entertainment and/or media at a network, cable, promotional/media agency or entertainment studio.
- Strong interpersonal skills (especially in high stress environments) and professional presence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to translate oral ideas into written pitches.
- Experience in project management across linear and digital/social
- Adept problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate creative thinking
- Highly organized, attention to detail, time management skills, ability to multi-task
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Team player with the desire to learn and go above and beyond
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings, mornings, weekends and/or occasional travel
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Keynote, Google Docs/Sheets, Airtable
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Not a requirement, but a plus: Strong familiarity with ABC/Disney Streaming Programming

The hiring range for this position based in Santa Monica, CA is $85,800 - $115,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
