About the Role & Team

Working in a dedicated team, the Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of high-quality, value-for-money TV, and Feature master materials to Disney’s direct-to-consumer platforms (DTC), with a focus on managing Art & Metadata creation and delivery. Working with internal and external vendors and in line with department standards, the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure is important. In addition, excellent customer focus and interpersonal skills are also key.

This is an office-based role. 4 days working in the Hammersmith office with 1 day working from home. (Monday or Friday).

What You Will Do

Artwork and Metadata Package Delivery

  • Conduct research for ongoing new title orders for the platform.
  • Verify the fulfilment of artwork and metadata orders with approved vendors.
  • Organisation of the requested art and metadata for packaging and delivery to the platform
  • Coordinate and/or perform remediation for the packages based on JIRA tickets.
  • Prepare and communicate production status to the Manager and Business stakeholders.
  • Create & maintain regular metrics on production performance.
  • Support team members with remediation of asset rejections and in resolving delivery issues.

Other General Activities

  • Attend and contribute to team; departmental, vendor and Content Operations meetings.
  • Coordinate representation of the team within broader Company meetings as required.
  • Work effectively with departmental colleagues and cross-functionally with other members of studio operations.
  • Work with The Walt Disney Company Accounts Payable to resolve Vendor billing issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of technical developments in the digital media space.
  • Adhere to defined Content Operations business processes, taking opportunities to improve.
  • Drive to continually develop knowledge of the product slate, media types and territories, including customers & market dynamics.
  • Provide training for colleagues as required.
  • Ensure other Departments are familiar with our role, and how to access relevant information.
  • Participate in systems testing and contribute suggestions for workflow and systems improvement.
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover for colleagues under the ‘Buddy’ scheme.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven understanding of the supply chain process
  • Experience in delivering/packaging content for non-linear distribution
  • Solid understanding of Adobe Suite, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Slack, Smartsheet, Airtable
  • Basic knowledge of .xml
  • Project coordination skills
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and capacity to work well under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
