Descrição do cargo:

Drive long-term product strategy and multi-year development roadmap to achieve business target and commercial priorities. The incumbent needs to determine a clear vision and strategy for master planning product development including but not limited to expansion projects, franchise strategy and seasonal event strategy. To inspire product development, the role also needs to understand commercial needs and expectations via business analytics and on-going pulsing on business momentum. This role also plays an integral role in driving cross-market and magic access strategy integration including Long-Range Plan, Annual Operating Plan and budget story formulation.

Job responsibilities:

  • Identify product needs and franchise opportunities in long-term expansion menu to develop product strategy with multi-year roadmap. Responsible to uncover and integrate past learnings, consumer insights and commercial needs into product brief with consideration of park wide attraction and entertainment offerings

  • Mobilize and collaborate with product integration team, entertainment, operations and digital product partners to ensure deliverables adequately answer consumer and commercial needs. Follow through with measurement and evaluation to define success

  • Lead long-term seasonal event strategy revamp to build equity of five signature events. Identify by-market consumer needs with consideration of event positioning longevity, financial and commercial viability

  • Feature product needs with examples to inspire and influence creative development and product integration. Assess, evaluate and adjust strategy with post-event evaluation to ensure event positioning and product deliverables achieve business objectives

  • Integrate market strategy (including Hong Kong, China & International) and magic access strategy planning for Long-Range Plan, Annual Operating Plan and campaign activations. Understand cross-markets consumer insights and commercial dynamics to inspire game changing and out-of-the-box strategy formulation. Proactively drive and conduct business analytics to identify commercial issues, inform on-going product optimization and drive resources prioritization

  • Lead the process of Marketing budget planning on regular basis, including budget story formulation, supported with corresponding budget context and details. Consolidate marketing budget across different geography and all marketing disciplines (e.g. customer engagement, activation & planning etc.)

  • Proactively engage and collaborate with entertainment, product integration partners, consumer insights team, market strategy, Magic Access and other commercial units (e.g. sales, corporate alliance, revenue management & analytics). Build and maintain good relationship with cross functional teams to identify expertise insights and data to sharpen perspective for product development

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree holder, major in marketing or business

  • Minimum 10 years of experience, able to synthesize relevant insights from different streams of information to identify product and business opportunities and provide strategic recommendation on long term product strategy that are financially, commercially and operationally viable

  • Solid strategic thinking to ensure a balanced understanding of market impact, creative, and financial. Ability to critically evaluate product options and proposals to ensure deliverables answer consumer and commercial objectives as per brief

  • Adapt at big picture problem solving and handle numerous lines of business’ needs with professionalism

  • Maintain flexibility amongst ambiguity with the ability to take control and put plans into action

  • Keep high level of agility to continuously educate cross functional teams 

  • Superb influencing and negotiation skills to mobilize cross-functional teams to achieve common goals

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required

  • Excellent project management skills to lead team to work with internal and external partners
