About the Role & Program
We at Facility Asset Management (FAM) provide construction project management services for the Walt Disney World Resort.
FAM focuses on maintaining the parks, attractions, rides, resorts, roads, retail shops and restaurants while preserving the overall show quality of our Parks and Resorts! Their outstanding construction management staff leads field aspects of construction projects including supervising field construction activities, ensuring the client's requirements regarding functionality and standards are met! This role works withing a team that provides technical support to team members from multiple design fields as well as project management teams to allow them to efficiently implement their project portfolios.
The approximate dates of this internship are January - June 2026.
What You Will Do
As a member of the Facilities Asset Management, your responsibilities may include:
- Provide design and analysis documentation in the form of graphic illustrations, imagery, boards, color renderings, and research and documentation.
- Analyze data and prepare GIS maps for land-use planning efforts.
- Work in an Enterprise GIS environment crafting, editing data, and configuring geo-databases.
- Using LIDAR and other information resources, assist in developing a GIS database and inventory of existing Disney Parks and Resorts resources collaborating with the Master Planning Studio.
- Coordinate activities that will involve the ability to multi-task and communicate efficiently between multiple teams regarding master planning tasks.
- Provide master planning and analysis summaries in the form of technical reports, maps, and research on assigned projects.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office skills (esp. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Availability to work various shifts commensurate with project requirements
- Basic knowledge of GIS systems
- Experience in using AutoCAD (2020 or higher)
- Experience in Revit 3D modeling (Architecture, Structure, Electrical and/or Mechanical)
- Basic knowledge of ESRI software products and understanding of cartographic design
Preferred Qualifications
- GIS map creation and feature/attribute editing
- Experience 3D Studio Max, Sketch Up, Adobe Illustrator Suit
- Successful completion of the Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
Education
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or Post Graduate degree at an accredited 4-year college or university majoring in geography, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), or a related field
- Junior, Senior or Graduate student status by arrival date
Preferred Education
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (Note: Please, no rounding) as shown on a transcript.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Additional Information
- Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
- Fully available from Monday through Friday with occasional weekends or holidays pending project need, up to 40 hours each week, early mornings or late nights are a possibility, bulk of work time will be during traditional 8am-5pm
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in Orlando FL is $30 for undergraduate student per hour and $35 for graduate student per hour.
