This role is within the Telecom Services organization. Our mission is to provide and support telephony, voice, wireless, video, cabling, and various infrastructure services to our Cast Members and Guests through efficient delivery and integration of common and secure platforms, products and devices that provide them with an experience that supports effective collaboration and communication.
We are seeking a Telecom Services Associate responsible for performing procurement /purchasing activities in SAP and Coupa, acquiring various supplies.
The main duties include executing purchase orders on behalf of the Telecom team while adhering to company policies. The Telecom Services Associate will also be working in the SAP Warehouse system to ensure that the reservation process is followed. Additionally, communication with internal stakeholders and with outside suppliers will be necessary to research sources, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate payment processing.
The Telecom Services Associate position reports to Telecom Business Manager, Telecom Business Office.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for DSMP vendor setup/extensions, PO requisitions, goods receipts, and invoice verification
Produce multiple operational reports regarding purchase orders and inventory
Utilize SAP Inventory system to maintain appropriate inventory levels, disbursements, and adjustments
Detailed tracking of vendor payments, processing monthly contractor payments
Reconcile shipping/receiving information and invoices in Coupa and the SAP Inventory system
Responsible for tracking items under warranty, expired equipment
Analyze invoices for validity, milestone completion, account reconciliation and payment resolution
Responsible for SAP reservation process to ensure items are pulled from the Telecom Warehouse in accordance with policy
Set up of bins, material numbers, etc. in the SAP Warehouse system
Verify orders are placed appropriately adhering to all tax codes
Must work collaboratively with clients and colleagues to deliver results
Effectively able to communicate any procurement, payment, or reservation issues
Researches and identifies issues and trends for reporting
Basic Qualifications:
Excellent teammate who possesses solid interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong communicator in both oral and written settings
Able to translate financial information to various business audiences to drive decision making
High energy level; strong work ethic
Determined, independent thinker
Basic understanding of Coupa procurement and SAP warehouse system, MS Office products Excel
Prior experience with SAP, other ERP, and Inventory Management systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Intermediate Excel, SAP, Coupa, Service Now, Automation tools
Ability to simplify complex issues and incorporate effective “storytelling” to engage and influence the audience
Ability to communicate to audiences of all levels persuasively, articulately and with full command of the topic
Required Education:
Pursuing bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or equivalent work experience
Preferred Education:
Pursuing master’s degree in finance or data analytics or quantitative field or certifications like (Business Intelligence Level 1, Business Intelligence Level 2, Data Science Level 1)
