As a full-time Sr Manager, Park Operations Line of Business-Park Arrival you will be tasked with driving significant long-term strategic goals intended to elevate the Park Arrival experience through innovation, automation, efficiencies, and higher Guest and Cast satisfaction. Act as the Park Operations sitewide champion and integrator for operational initiatives within Park Arrival Operations. Drive Technological Initiatives to find efficiencies in all facets of the operation. Help transform, source and implement new ways to solve for complex arrival operations including Guest Relations, Vacation Planning, Park Greeters, as well as ancillary work through partnerships. Drive critical thinking around current processes and challenge operational leaders to look beyond proven ideas. While acting as an informal leader to the operations, you will be charged with influencing executives and peers in the operation to achieve set deliverables. Partner with Labor Relations, Sourcing and Procurement, Training, Workforce Management, Advisory and Assurance, Technology, and Legal, amongst many others. Lead weekly Park Arrival integration meetings with partners across WDW, ensuring forward momentum and process toward achieving goals. Benchmark, identify and test new technology to drive efficiency in both labor and processes. Use this knowledge to serve as the subject matter expert for the local operators of Park Arrival, integrating strategic processes in all aspects of the arrival experience.
You Will:
Develop and execute a strategy-oriented operating plan focused on safety, innovation, and continuous improvement Park Operations initiatives and for your direct team
Drive enhanced financial, Guest, and Cast results for the area with a focus on elevated service, efficiency and optimization that benefits the overall business
Interpret and use metrics and operational indicators to motivate and enhance Operational results
Partner with teams to support project execution and integration; verify scope of work, operational impact, readiness and contingency planning
Support change, taking calculated risks to integrate processes, remove barriers and align performance goals
Act as the Park Operations LOB liaison for logistics and strategy for all things related to Park Arrival Operations.
You Will Have:
Minimum of 3 years of recent experience leading a team of salaried leaders
Commitment to promote an inclusive work environment that supports workforce diversity and diverse perspectives
Competency to translate metrics into clear, story-based presentations to influence different audiences and levels of leadership that enhance results
Competency to understand multiple technology platforms as well as back-end functionality to influence subject matter experts on future innovation at Park Arrival
Creativity to find solutions, remove barriers and identify opportunities for continuous improvement while serving as a trusted advisor and influencer for direct reports, peers, partners, and other leaders
Advanced skills in simultaneously managing demands and priorities amidst constant change while holding self and others accountable
Established history and commitment in modeling Disney Leadership competencies and behaviors
Competency to work with partners from different levels and teams to move the operation forward to the next level of excellence
Capability to communicate across teams ensuring everyone understands updates, priorities, and appropriate course of escalation to drive results
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
