Disney Advertising Sales (DAS) drives the advertising revenue across platforms for the entire media portfolio – including Disney+, Hulu, ABC, ESPN, Freeform, FX, National Geographic, Disney Channels Worldwide, and more.

The Ad Sales Business Operations team within Disney Ad Sales is responsible for driving operational excellence and strategic alignment within the sales organization by delivering critical support to sales management and fostering cross-functional collaboration. It enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of sales force through streamlined processes, optimized procedures, and improved sales support systems. By managing and analyzing data across Sales, Operations, and Revenue Yield Management, the team provides data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions, improve performance metrics, and identify growth opportunities, particularly in high-impact areas.

Job Summary:

Disney Advertising Sales (DAS) is seeking a Business Data Steward Coordinator.  This role will be directly responsible for ensuring Customer and Ad Sales Data is as healthy, complete and robust as possible. He/she will work with his/her counterparts across the Disney Media Network to help to establish and enforce business rules, define data quality metrics, assist with cross-system reconciliations and participate in the remediation of data issues. This role will be core to improving processes that ensure cross-system data harmonization and alignment with the Master Data Management (MDM) solution.  The Business Data Steward Coordinator will report to the Manager, Master Data Manager and help manage DAS’s internal Sales data including Sales Team structure, Sales Team-to-Account alignment and Account mapping

  • Understand Data Flows/Processes across internal systems.
  • Assist with system-to-system field mapping for future migrations & integrations as well as manage system data on Sales teams and Sales Team-to Account Assignments.
  •  Assist with data cleansing activities, including creation, mapping, updates, and de-duplication.
  • Identify and utilize public data sources to enrich our existing advertiser/agency customer data.
  • Assist in monitoring and profiling existing data sets to ensure business rule adherence, system feature adoption and suggest methods for improvements or additional training needed.
  • Work with Sales, Account Management, and Accounting to process order and proposal transfers.
  • Record, troubleshoot, and resolve various support requests originating from SalesHub and integration with other sales systems directly from end users in a timely manner.  Escalate issues to technology and Credit teams were deemed appropriate.
  • Pursue enhanced efficiencies within Sales processes and in providing support.
  • Escalate issues to manager related system enhancements and support requests and share with Sales and IT.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

  • Oversee the administration of training work, including invitations, attendee lists, rec Assist in monitoring and profiling existing data sets to ensure business rule adherence, system feature adoption and suggest methods for improvements or additional training needed.
  • Record, troubleshoot, and resolve various support requests originating from SalesHub and integration with other sales systems directly from end users in a timely manner.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

Proficient understanding of relational data and relational database concepts.

•           Minimum 1 years of Data Analysis experience

•           Ability to articulate and communicate complex data to a variety of audiences including business leaders, project teams, IT and management.

•           Prior experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM system preferred

•           Willingness to learn and collaborate on solutions.

•           Meticulous attention to detail

•         Outside-the-box thinker when it comes to creating/improving processes, systems, tools, etc. Excellent communication, interpersonal, motivational, and presentation skills

    

Preferred Qualifications

•           Familiarity with the Media and/or Advertising industries

•           Experience using Data Visualization tools such as Tableau

The hiring range for this remote position is $61,300 - $86,100 per year , which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
