Digital Marketing Coordinator – Project Management (PH)
The Disney Entertainment segment includes the company’s full portfolio of entertainment media and content businesses globally, including streaming.
The Digital Marketing team oversees creative, programming, and operations of Disney Entertainment’s YouTube channels. The Project Management part of the YouTube team is responsible for project schedules, budgets, vendor management, asset management, localization, quality control, and more. Additionally, this team works closely with YouTube Creative & Publishing teams, as well as TWDC Brand and Franchise, Studios, Consumer Products, Experiences, Governance, Legal, Music, and Finance. The team is responsible for adhering to TWDC and YouTube policies.
The Digital Marketing Coordinator on the YouTube Project Management team will support the Disney Entertainment Digital Marketing team in project, production, and program management of content for multiple TWDC YouTube channels, supporting a suite of global brands including Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar. This role supports the team with day-to-day responsibilities including maintaining production schedules and project budgets, vendor management, asset and media management, global content distribution, and more. This role will work in tandem with multiple internal and external teams to align with strategic Creative & Publishing rollouts. The Project Coordinator will assist with asset management, including performing QC, trafficking assets to key stakeholders for reviews and clearances, as well as internal content library organization.
The Digital Marketing Coordinator should be a detail-oriented planner, focused on organization and well-versed in digital content production management, with a solid understanding of production schedules, budgets, technical specifications, asset management, and the QC and localization processes.
The ideal candidate should be results-driven with the ability to collaborate extensively with a team, as well as work autonomously with thoroughness and accuracy. The Coordinator should be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, collaborate effectively, troubleshoot as needed, and manage up to leadership appropriately.
Responsibilities:
Gather, organize, and track localization assets for YouTube content
Communicate with localization vendors to request bids, confirm deliverables, and manage timelines.
Maintain localization records and update documentation using established templates and systems (e.g., Airtable, Box)
Maintain localized asset delivery, performing and coordinating QC to ensure technical specifications are accurate and receipt of all required deliverables are fulfilled
Traffic assets to key stakeholders and reviewers
Generate, maintain and assist in distributing localization-focused project trackers to stakeholders, ensuring awareness of milestones, delays and any relevant updates/issues; offer solutions as needed
Assist in tracking localization budgets, costs, and invoicing, working with Digital Marketing’s Finance and Operations teams
Manage assets into and within the designated repositories, archives, and catalogs
Liaise with YouTube Creative and Publishing teams to ensure content is delivered as required and on time to fulfill Digital Marketing plans
Participate in team meetings and share updates on assigned tasks
Localization and Multi-Platform Content Management
Source and provide assets to localization vendor teams
Manage QC to confirm and ensure technically sound assets are delivered to specifications
Route assets to internal reviewers and stakeholders
Distribute localized assets to regional partners
Catalog and archive library of assets
Assist in communications, documentation, and tracking of YouTube team’s localization efforts
Assist with multi-platform content distribution through asset management, localization, and distribution
Asset Management and Trafficking
Source and provide assets to production teams
Perform QC to confirm and ensure technically sound assets are delivered to specifications
Facilitate assets to internal reviewers and stakeholders
Catalog and archive library of assets
Project & Production Management
Assist in coordinating production workflows, schedules and delivery
Interface with Creative and Publishing teams to make certain content delivers to expectations and on time; troubleshoot as needed
Facilitate invoicing and track payments through Digital Marketing Operations and Finance
Facilitate project tracking and provide project trackers to stakeholders
Required Skills
Familiarity with content production, schedules, bidding, and budget management, specifically for digital content and YouTube
Ability to manage and build relationships with external vendors
Strong focus on organization, details, and planning
Quality control acumen, and understanding of technical specifications of digital content to facilitate QC proficiently
Detail-oriented, resourceful and dependable with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Adaptable and solutions oriented, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, digital-forward environment
Prepared and excited to collaborate with multiple teams
Efficient with time with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize accordingly
Familiarity with asset management and delivery systems. Knowledge of AirTable Databases, Interfaces and Forms
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google Docs, Box, Keynote/PowerPoint
An affinity for and knowledge of the Walt Disney Studios’ brands and content
Required Education
At least 1 year of experience in project management, social/digital marketing preferred
AA or BA in Digital Marketing, Marketing or business admin/relevant degree, or equivalent experience preferred
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $54,000 - $72,300 per year. The hiring range for this position in NYC, NY is $56,600 - $75,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
