As a Senior Operations Integration Project Manager within Disney Cruise Line Operations Integration, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution and integration of key operations projects and activities across Disney Cruise Line, with a focus on operations technology and accessibility initiatives. You will work with shoreside and shipboard leaders in various departments to drive requirements, lead project meetings, test/adjust products and processes, and support project implementation efforts. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Operations Integration Technology, Accessibility & Communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee complex project management tasks ensuring seamless integration of new systems, processes, and technologies, and align these efforts with broader organizational goals.

  • Lead and manage multiple operational projects and initiatives of varying size and scope simultaneously.  Projects may support technology/digital, accessibility, policies, operational processes, and other initiatives. 

  • Serve as a project liaison between Hotel, Entertainment, Terminal, Human Resources, and Marine & Technical Operations in the project development cycle.

  • Partner with operational teams to gather and provide requirements for projects and process improvements, develop recommendations, prepare documentation required for discussion, and present to leadership for approvals.

  • Engage key stakeholders in a variety of internal departments, including Technology & Digital, Marketing, Internal Communications, Revenue Management, Finance, Legal, Risk Management, Business Systems Management, and Travel Services to develop and manage implementation plans, including identifying, documenting, and recommending mitigation for potential risks and opportunities.

  • Communicate, present, and facilitate regular project status updates to stakeholders, leadership, and partners ranging from frontline Cast and Crew Members to Executive leadership.

  • Represent DCL Operations in project development efforts that cut across multiple departments, balancing requirements to meet the needs of all stakeholders, and recommending trade-offs where necessary.

  • Conduct after action reviews with stakeholders and leaders to compile and understand feedback to help develop future projects.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in operations project management, strategic planning, or other relevant disciplines with a proven track record of driving projects to completion. 

  • Proficient in time management, organizational capabilities, balancing competing priorities and stakeholder needs in an evolving and growing business.

  • Ability to present to and communicate with all levels of the organization, including executives.

  • Proven critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external partners at various levels.

  • Can work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.

  • Ability to handle confidential information.

  • Proven ability to assess projects against predefined criteria and make informed decisions about their alignment with strategic goals.

  • Strong attention to detail, especially when evaluating projects, preparing presentations, and organizing agenda items for project meetings.

  • Ability to consolidate input from multiple sources, synthesize findings, and develop recommendations.

  • Familiarity with Disney Cruise Line operations, products, policies, and ways of working.

  • Awareness and understanding of services for people with disabilities and associated accessibility regulations or guidelines, including the willingness to learn and become familiar with regional regulations that are impactful to Disney Cruise Line operations.

  • Ability to analyze metrics to create stories depicting operational performances and user experiences for strategic decision-making.

  • Ability to lay out project details, requirements, goals on paper, including the development of presentations to share with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to intake complex ideas and thoughts, and distill them down to clear, concise messaging and graphics, where applicable.

  • Ability to handle confidential information.

  • Ability to be flexible with working time to support project efforts that involve stakeholders across multiple time zones globally.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), presentation software, and project management software, including Smartsheet.

  • Ability to travel within the US and internationally as projects dictate.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of Disney Cruise Line, including an understanding of maritime environment and associated operations.

  • Previous work experience in the area of Disney Cruise Line technology from an operations perspective (including DCL Navigator App, Voyage Planner, and other digital tools that impact the Guest experience onboard).

  • Experience in supporting accessibility related initiative work and general understanding of American Disabilities Act (ADA) legislation.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Communication, Project Management, or equivalent

Preferred Education

  • Advanced study or certification in Project Management, CAPM, PMP or equivalent.
