The Senior Manager-Commercial Business Transformation will focus on evolving commercial business models as well as identifying additional areas of value creation for the business. This role will have primary responsibility for development of LOB strategies, including short/long term plans for the Food & Beverage LOB, and integration across the commercial organization. It will require using market analysis and benchmarking industry norms, trends, best practices, consumer needs & insights. Key partners & stakeholders include WDI, Finance, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Technology & Digital, CIMA, Operations, LOB Executives and the broader Commercial organization (Marketing, Sales, RMA). Successful candidates must be highly innovative and collaborative, capable of defining & clearly communicating strategic initiatives, able to develop new concepts and business models, while staying informed of trends across a variety of audiences.
This Sr Manager role will report to Vice President, Commercial Business Transformation and is based in Anaheim, CA.
You Will:
Researches and develops strategic plans across DLR LOBs including a specific focus on the Food & Beverage short/long term strategic roadmap for the DLR site.
Identifies revenue growth opportunities and strategic priorities using data and insights to create innovative tactics to drive additional business opportunities & results.
Validates work through collaboration & integration with key subject matter experts including DLR business/LOB owners, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Commercial, Tech/Digital, and other key stakeholders.
Utilizes a mix of research & analytical skills, operational knowledge, technical development/understanding, and diverse network of resources to develop models & plans.
Requires guiding, leading, and influencing legacy teams (across various leader levels) to transform how they do work in more productive, efficient ways to support improved Guest & Cast experiences as well as financial results.
Creates and delivers compelling data driven stories to support strategies to inform and influence senior level executives
Develop innovative creative strategies along with “how to execute” thoughts/work to ensure smooth transition to teams who will implement.
Leads and supports ideation and innovation related work including greenhouse project(s).
Assists with integration across commercial strategy functions
You Will Have:
5+ years demonstrated strategic planning and project management experience
Has broad and comprehensive understanding of systems, theories and practices.
Proven track record of driving change, growth, and innovation
Proven experience developing and executing business strategies across large scale operations in an expeditious manner
Demonstrated influencing, partnering, collaboration and relationship skills to engage with stakeholders across multiple teams to achieve results.
Demonstrated ability to excel in ambiguous environments with shifting priorities
Excellent communication, including facilitation, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to adjust delivery to appropriate audience
Demonstrated passion and commitment to creating an inclusive work environment
Proven ability to build and foster relationships with a variety of different business partners
Leads in a collaborative manner and has demonstrated ability to influence to work through complex situations
Ability to lead multiple projects – displays through project coordination, effective time management and prioritization skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Sr Mgr experience in multiple LOB’s supporting Operations or Commercial Strategy
Systems or technology experience (SmartSheet, PowerApps, automation, etc.)
Proven strategic and analytical skills, solid business and financial acumen, and the ability to instruct and guide direct and indirect team members across these areas.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to define a clear vision and motivate others
Innovative/creative problem solving and ability to catalyze change
Advanced presentation development and delivery
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail complimented by a flexible approach to shifting priorities on multiple assignments
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project/Program Management, Merchandise, Food & Beverage, Hospitality or related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Education
Master’s degree a plus.

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $151,000.00 to $202,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
